Introduction

Torryn advises companies in commercial litigation disputes and government investigations.

Torryn Rodgers’ practice involves high-stakes, fast-paced litigation, ranging from complex commercial disputes to election law claims across the country. She represents a range of clients, including large-scale technology companies, real estate entities with nationwide property and leaseholds disputes, a media company in a First Amendment defamation lawsuit, and a large pharmaceutical company in complex federal multidistrict litigation and related state court lawsuits. Torryn has also achieved favorable outcomes for clients in class-action litigation. 

While at Ashurst Perkins Coie, Torryn spent nine months as a secondee to Google LLC’s general litigation group, where she managed a full docket of small cases across various U.S. jurisdictions. 

Torryn handles all aspects of civil litigation, including preparing and taking witnesses for fact and expert depositions, drafting dispositive motions, managing discovery disputes and large-scale document productions, and negotiating favorable settlements on behalf of clients.  

In her pro bono practice, Torryn has represented various clients in  veterans’ services, First Amendment claims, and applications for asylum and Special Immigrant Juvenile Status. Torryn previously worked with the Alameda County Public Defender’s Office and the Equal Justice Initiative, and she was a fellow with the Coro Center for Civic Leadership.
