Introduction

Quentin's practice focuses on advising energy and other resources companies, such as miners, on some of their most-complex legal issues throughout their assets' lifecycle and in many international locations.

Quentin Robinson is a partner with 10+ years' experience of advising companies on a broad range of legal and commercial issues in the global resources sector.

Quentin advises on matters throughout the full lifecycle of an asset/project, including M&A/A&D, project development, investment (including structuring) and general operational matters (including O&M and feedstock/product-trading arrangements).

Quentin's focus is on:

  • The upstream and midstream oil and gas sector, in which Quentin has significant in-house experience, having been seconded to a number of operators, non-operators and service-sector companies;
  • The energy transition sector, including on mandates involving hydrogen/ammonia, HVO/SAF/eSAF, renewables and carbon capture, use and/or storage; and
  • The mining sector, with a particular focus on private M&A and early-stage investment mandates in Africa.
