Phil is well known for his extensive experience in M&A, shareholder activism, capital markets and corporate governance.
Phil Breden has previously been the firm's Global Co-Head of Corporate and Head of Region, Australia.
Phil has received recognition as a leading Australian M&A lawyer in legal directories such as Chambers Global, Legal 500 and IFLR 1000, and advises large ASX-listed companies as well as European and US-based multinationals.
Phil is experienced in public and private M&A, shareholder activism, corporate advisory and governance, and capital markets. His practice spans a variety of sectors, particularly energy, digital infrastructure, retail, utilities, real estate, manufacturing and gaming. He also has deep experience in shareholder activism matters.
