Introduction
Linda is a practice attorney doing data analysis, document review, and assisting with deposition and litigation prep in the firm's NewLaw practice.
Linda Praast reviews legal documents for relevance, specific issues, and privilege, using platforms such as Relativity, iConnect, and DISCO. She also assists with quality control, and identification and analysis of important documents. As a result, Linda often acts as the case “fact expert.” She works on reviews across a range of matters, including antitrust, fraud investigations, and contract and patent disputes. Linda further supports case teams with deposition and trial preparation, which includes creating exhibits, chronologies, outlines, and analyses of key issues.
Linda has experience building spreadsheets for tracking and analyzing data. She also assists with motion filings, including identifying key documents and drafting supporting declarations.
Before joining Ashurst Perkins Coie, Linda worked on large-scale discovery reviews, focusing on DOJ and FTC antitrust investigations, including second requests. During these reviews, she drafted privilege logs and helped with deposition preparation. Linda was previously employed in trade association management at the local, state, and national levels.
