Dan advises clients on eDiscovery, legal process response, and data disclosure.
With more than 20 years of experience, Daniel W. Palmer supports litigation teams and clients across all phases of discovery and case preparation, including quality control, privilege review, project management, arbitration, and trial preparation.
Dan has worked with leading litigation technology platforms, including Relativity, DISCO, CaseMap, Concordance, and LiveNote, to develop and manage document databases and deliver efficient, reliable discovery support. His experience spans matters involving data disclosure, content moderation, aviation, civil and criminal product liability, regulatory investigations, antitrust, and environmental insurance cost recovery actions.
Dan also advises technology companies responding to prelitigation demand letters, third-party subpoenas, and other legal processes. He has substantial experience negotiating discovery and legal process issues, resolving disputes, and drafting detailed subpoena objection letters. He regularly helps a leading online communications provider address requests for user information and build data disclosure programs, including matters involving the federal Stored Communications Act and First Amendment considerations.
Before becoming a lawyer, Dan worked as an accountant and legal assistant for a labor and employment law firm.
