Introduction

Andrew represents clients in high-tech patent litigation in federal courts, the U.S. International Trade Commission, and the Patent Trial and Appeal Board.

Andrew Ohlert has experience with all aspects of patent litigation, from pre-filing analysis to trial and post-trial briefing. He works alongside technical experts and prepares witnesses. His computer science background allows him to represent clients in a wide range of technologies, including semiconductor fabrication and organization, computer memories, network routing, wireless communication, HVAC systems, and video game controllers. 

Andrew maintains an active pro bono practice, focusing on immigration and technology. He successfully represented a family of Mexican refugees seeking asylum from persecution based on familial status, an LGBTQ+ nonprofit registering its trademarks with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, an international nongovernmental organization in Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy proceedings to seize a domain name being used for fraudulent purposes, and an organization that provided diversity and inclusion training in high schools.
